PYG carries out the technical assistance for the execution of the Environmental Monitoring Program (PVA) of the Huesna dam spillway works in the province of Seville.

The main objective of the PVA is to ensure the monitoring of the significant effects of the works on the environment, verifying their compliance with the forecasts established in the project and its associated environmental documentation. To this end, periodic visits are made to the construction site and technical reports are prepared to detect unforeseen impacts and to articulate the preventive and corrective measures required in each case.

In addition, supervision of the implementation of the planned protective measures and evaluation of their real effectiveness is carried out. In the medium term, the PVA will make it possible to accurately determine the effects on the surrounding resources resulting from both the execution and the subsequent operation of the works, providing a rigorous knowledge of the evolution of the measures implemented.

This type of technical assistance is essential to ensure that hydraulic infrastructure works are carried out in full compliance with environmental conditions, contributing to responsible management of the territory and natural resources.
